Our All-Inclusive* Bariatric Surgery packages are 11 to 14 nights to allow for travel, pre and post op exams, the surgery and one night in the hospital, then about 1 week for a gentle recovery and even some light sight seeing.

The typical itinerary:

Sunday - Fly into Manizales or Pereira for Manizales surgeries. Fly into Medellin or Cali for surgeries there. We will pick you up at the airport and go to the hotel for check in. Spend the day relaxing. You book and pay for your hotel directly using our special discount rates.
Monday - Consultation with surgeons and anesthesiologist. Pre Op exams. Payment in full is required.
Tuesday - Surgery. The surgery is about 2 hours or so. Then you will be taken to your private hospital room after recovery. Spend 1 night in the hospital.
Wednesday - Consultation with surgeon and post op exams. If all good, you are released and we take you to your hotel for rest.
Thursday to Sunday - Recovery. We suggest you walk 4 or 5 times per day for an hour or so. This is critical to reduce the chance of thrombosis. Friday or Saturday meet with the surgeon for final check up and release to fly home.
Monday - We will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the airport. Many of our patients stay several extra days. Just let us know and we can arrange everything.
